Is the internet currently a free and open place? ( Yes, No, Maybe)

Should the internet be regulated by the government?

How should the government regulate the internet? (Censorship of vulgarity, Age restrictions based on content, censorship of slander/libel, Censorship of gov. criticism, The government should not regulate the internet)

Would you prefer to pay to gain priority on the internet and allow for capitalistic ventures, or maintain net neutrality and have people be on a level playing field?

Is it possible to have effective regulation/ censorship on the internet from a legislative perspective?

What is your age?

What is your gender?

As the data shows, respondents are seemingly unsure about legislation on the internet. While it seems that there is some sentiment towards regulation of certain content that appears on the internet, most are against it, and think that it would have negative consequences. One thing that is almost certain however, is that people are not interested in paying for priority or to have the privilege to visit certain cites on the internet. With internet access being free ever since its inception, it seems ridiculous to suddenly charge for such an essential service. On this topic as well, those surveyed are not even sure if government regulation is something thats even achievable today, with the inherent freedom of the utility seemingly very well engrained into it.
